The ALNN provides advice based on multiple agricultural sources. Subsequently, a user advice is linked to an analysis where applicable (eg fertilization advice).

The Agricultural Laboratory Northern Netherlands carries out physical and chemical research in many different products. ALNN uses analysis methods that: conform to an NEN standard, are equivalent to an NEN standard or according to its own method.

Samplers are trained by the head of sampling at ALNN so that the quality of sampling is guaranteed. The sampler consults with the customer about the samples to be taken and, where necessary, provides the customer with additional information about current legislation.
